Tom Brady, who graced the field at Michigan Stadium for 2 years as a Wolverine starting QB, compiling an incredible 20-5 record in his 2 years as a starter, has been named the Associated Press NFL Offensive Player of the Year.
Tom Brady, AP Offensive Player of the Year
Brady played the 2011 season with an injured foot, without star receiver Randy Moss, who was traded to the Minnesota Vikings, and without a star running game.
The Pats won 14 games, and Brady led the young team by throwing 36 TD passes and just 4 INT's.
Brady is now 19th All-Time in NFL passing yards, with 34,744, and he is now #10 All-Time in NFL TD passes with 261(a tie with Dave Kreig).
